The Solon Group of Keller Williams, SunTrust Mortgage, MBS Training Club, and South East Home Inspections along with the Avalon Park Community are proud to announce that the Annual Back To School Rally will be taking place on Saturday, August the 2nd from 10am to 3pm. Tons of Free School supplies will be given out during this event. The event will be held at Town Park in Avalon Park.

Some vendors include Gusso Golf Academy, Avalon Dance, Abrakadoodle, Space Walk of Orlando. The activities for the day include a spelling bee, face painting, art projects, bounce houses, a golfing green, a performance by Avalon Dance. Backpacks, school supplies, and a Back to School gift card will be raffled off during the event. There will be an array of food trucks, in addition to the Downtown Avalon Park restaurants, including Orlando favorites Monsta Lobsta and Kona Dog.

Kids R Kids of Waterford Lakes, Primrose Pre-School, Castle Creek Elementary School, Monarch Children’s Academy and Stone Lakes Elementary School have all confirmed attendance. This is a unique opportunity for parents to communicate with many different educators and for students to get excited for the upcoming school year. There will be a ceremony honoring the local teachers and administrators with a guest of honor TBA and the event will end with a Back to School cheer.

Avalon Park hosts popular festivals throughout the year. Avalon’s family activities Absolutely Avalon, Halloween/Octoberfest, 4th of July, Movie under the Stars and Avalon Aglow, held during the winter holiday season, are all highly rated.
